Basics & Beyond

Life (and yoga) after Intro. This class is suitable for students who have completed an Introduction to Yoga series and are ready to build on that foundation while exploring the practice further.  Taught by Dariece Warren.

Basics & Beyond
Beginners~Level 2
Wednesday, 7:15~8:30 pm

Whether you’re just beginning or have a regular practice, this class will help you build from where you are to deeply attune to your own Yoga thus relieving tension, stress and supporting a healthier you!  Emphasis may change class to class but will include finding your quiet center through breath work, meditation, sound, alignment and mindful movement through stretch and flow sequences ending in a long much deserved savasana.  Taught by Rhonda Slota.

Gentle Yoga, Perfect for Seniors and Everyone Else
Wednesday, 9:15-10:45 am

Gentler and slower paced makes this clas accesible to people of all ages, sizes and fitness levels.  Taught by Dariece Warren.

Intro to Yoga

This progressive, six-week series is designed to give you the basics of yogic body and breath awareness, and the poses that make up the foundation of a well-rounded yoga practice. You will also begin to build strength and flexibility, as well as learning to modify poses for your body, integrating any injuries or limitations.

Iyengar Inspired Yoga 
Beginners~Level 3
Thursday, 6:00~7:30 pm

Yoga taught in the style of B.K.S. Iyengar.  This class is informative and engaging with clear and precise instruction that focuses on posture and body alignment. It is open to people of all ages and abilities.  The use of props or supports may be used, allowing people with limited abilities or confidence to start practicing yoga and progress.  Taught by Bernard Bedeur.


Level 2 Vinyasa Flow
Thursday, 4:14~5:30 pm
 
Flow through this dynamic practice at a moderate to vigorous pace.  Students should be familiar with Sun Salutations A & B and be prepared to sweat as we generate a lot of inner heat.  Some poses will be held while we focus on building strength, alignment and awareness of the breath.  Taught by David Larot.

Moksha Monday
Level 2~3
Monday, 5:45~7:00 pm

Free your mind and the rest will follow! Letting go of old beliefs and discovering the surprises within and around you may be your path to moksha, the Sanskrit word for emancipation. We’ll build on the primary poses essential to a well rounded practice while proceeding in an exploration of intermediate to advanced poses.
 Dive in deep both physically and mentally. Taught by Dariece Warren.

Restorative Yoga
Beginners~Level 3
2nd & 4th Fridays, 6:00~7:30 pm 

Got Stress? Get Restorative.  In this supported, slow, quiet practice, we’ll use props such as bolsters, blocks and blankets to support the body in various poses, encouraging deep relaxation and healing.  Restorative Yoga can also be beneficial for injury recovery, chronic fatigue, preparing for childbirth, and much more. Uncover the relaxed person within; your loved ones will thank you!  Taught by Dariece Warren.

Sattva Saturday
Beginners~Level 3
Saturday, 10:15~11:30 am       

Discover the balanced union of body, mind and heart through poses, breath work and meditative flow.  Sattva is a Sanskrit word that describes the state of attention without tension: a balance between effort and effortlessness, between rising to a challenge and simply letting go.  Move from stress, stiffness, agitation and worry to centeredness, calmness and deep inner peace. Taught by Rhonda Slota.

Sunrise Flow
Level 1~3
Saturday, 8:30~9:45 am         

Get ready to build heat, strength and suppleness in this invigorating class.  Integration of a stimulating flow--along with a focus on alignment, breath and meditation--make this fun class challenging for all. Class may include a variety of musical themes, from traditional Indian music to The Beatles. Taught by Dariece Warren.

Yin Yoga
Beginners~Level 3
1st, 3rd, & 5th Fridays, 6:00~7:30 pm

This introspective class with emphasis on deep stretches for the joints and connective tissue will prepare your body and train your mind for seated meditation.  Class concludes with meditation. Taught by Dariece Warren.

Yoga Blend
Level 1~3
Monday, 9:15~10:45 am

Drawing from various styles of yoga and incorporating favorite aspects from each, this mixed levels class is intended to strengthen your body, increase your flexibility and improve your health.  Classes are often thematic; routinely include breath work and simple meditation, and always a restful savasana (extended relaxation). Taught by Dariece Warren.

Yoga for EveryBody

Sunday, 10:15 am~11:30

What is yoga supposed to be, anyway? Perhaps you’ve got visions of skinny young things in pretzel shapes or Indian gurus lying on beds of nails dancing in your head. Well, maybe in another lifetime…but what can it be for you, today? Starting where you are, this class offers you the chance to safely build flexibility, strength, and a sense of humor as you use props, individual attention, and deep relaxation to find your yoga.
